The Saints have announced their first roster moves to get to the 53-man roster. Gone are S Lance Schulters, tight end Ronnie Ghent, defensive end Jeremy Geathers, defensive end Marcus Pittman, safety David Roach, guard Isaiah Ross and offensive tackle Brian Stamper. Rookie WR Adrian Arrington was played on IR.
Putting Arrington on IR was a good move. It guarantees he'll be back with the Saints next year, and he rests the 2008 season. The team still has some moves to make before tomorrow's deadline.
