LSU at Washington

vs.

LSU travels to take on the Washington Huskies of the PAC-10 to open the season on Saturday. While Washington was winless last year, they are a BCS school and should provide a good opening test for the Tigers.

LSU will have a new look this year with a new defensive coordinator and a definite starting quarterback. Last year's unorganized defense has been scraped and hopefully, the pick-sixes are a thing of the past on offense.

Look for LSU to establish the run early with senior Charles Scott. They'll also want to get freshman phenom Russell Sheppard involved in the offense by lining him up in the backfield or as a receiver. At the end of the day, this should be an easy one for the Tigers to bring home a win for the LSU faithful and get the season started the right way.

Prediction:
LSU 37
Washington 13
