NFL Draft Moves to Three Days, Primetime

The NFL Draft will have a different feel next year. Instead of starting Saturday afternoon and taking up the whole day on Sunday, the draft will start in primetime on Thursday with round 1, rounds 2-3 will take place in primetime on Friday and the selections will finish up on Saturday with rounds 4-7.

I think this is a good move in that the draft has become the biggest offseason day of the football year and viewership/buzz rivals the Superbowl. I will miss having an entire weekend devoted to the draft, but with it spread out, there will be more time for analyst to look at picks and maybe later round draft picks will get discussed more than they do now.
