While not as heavily promoted as the NFL Draft, the NBA Draft is a fun event as well. With only two rounds, the draft takes place in prime time for a few hours. Teams are more eager to trade players and picks in the NBA Draft and with the rookie salary scale, there aren't the holdouts or issues with having a top-5 pick that come with the NFL Draft.With the NBA season nearing its conclusion, all of the teams who either didn't make the playoffs or have been eliminated are turning their focus to the college draft. The Hornets have the 21st pick in the first round. I would personally like to see them get some size, but other needs include a backup point guard and a shooting guard.
