From the "Redeem Team" to Michael Phelps and from women's basketball and gymnastics to soccer and volleyball, the 2008 Summer Olympics were a huge success for the United States. Sure there were some tough loses (Lolo Jones, softball, team gymnastics, Dara Torres), but overall the Olympics were great television. Beijing did a great job as host city, and NBC had some excellent events to broadcast.Congratulations to all the athletes in this year's games and good luck in four years in London. We'll be watching.
