NFL Preview

The NFL is back! The season kicks off tonight and real football is finally here. To get ready for the season, across the Internet analysts are putting in their picks for the Superbowl. This week, all of the writers from Sports Illustrated weighed in on their choices for division winners, Superbowl and individual awards. Following their lead, here are my selections:

NFL Playoffs:
AFC North: Pittsburgh Steelers
AFC South: Indianapolis Colts
AFC East: New England Patriots
AFC West: San Diego Chargers
Wild Cards: Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars

NFC North: Green Bay Packers
NFC South: New Orleans Saints
NFC East: New York Giants
NFC West: Seattle Seahawks
Wild Cards: Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears

AFC Championship: Patriots over Colts
NFC Championship: Saints over Bears

Super Bowl: Saints over Patriots (A boy can dream can't he?)

#1 Pick in 2010 Draft: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

League Awards:
MVP: Drew Brees, QB, Saints (Drew finally gets what he deserves)
Offensive Player of the Year: Adrian Peterson, RB, Vikings (Peterson will make at run at 2,000)
Defensive Player of the Year: Brian Urlacher, LB, Bears (Urlacher will be rejuvenated with the offense finally having a QB)
Offensive Rookie of the Year: Mark Sanchez, QB, Jets (The league loves to push its QBs, so Sanchez has a leg up on the award)
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Malcolm Jenkins, CB/S, Saints (Gregg Williams will use him in a variety of ways at CB, S and rushing the QB)
Comeback Player of the Year: Tom Brady, QB, Patriots (Does anyone else even have a chance?)
Coach of the Year: Mike McCarthy, Packers (Packers will return to the playoffs with their potent offense)
