After weeks of sitting idle during the offseason, the Hornets have made their 2nd big move just a day after trading Tyson Chandler for Emeka Okafor. The team has added power forward Ike Diogu to back up David West. While the move won't take the NBA by storm, it's a good move for depth and improves the team.
Diogu is a former 9th overall pick and has battle injuries and team depth during his career to limit his experience. With the Hornets, he'll be one of the first options off the bench and will help spell All-Star West.
