The Hornets take their 2-0 series lead on the road tonight to take on the Spurs in San Antonio. In the Dallas series, New Orleans had a 2-0 lead and lost game 3 (the first road game). Many are predicting the same result tonight.
I have faith in the Hornets, but I too am skeptical that they'll be able to keep up their dominant play tonight. I don't think the Spurs can win in New Orleans, not with the way the crowd has been involved and the way the team is striving off of them. If the Hornets can grab one of the next two in San Antonio, this series will end in 5 games, but who knows with the momentum on their side and the way they've been playing, it may be time to take out the brooms.
Chris Paul has been the best player in the playoffs so far, but despite perhaps having the best season of anyone in the league, he came in 2nd for the MVP award. Kobe Bryant was named MVP this week. Bryant had a good year and many are calling his winning the MVP as his life-time achievement award. He's has had a spectacular career but had never won the MVP. Paul will be in contention for many years to come for the top individual league awards, so maybe he'll get his life-time achievement award in the near future.
